The location of the player controls in the Quicklook player can be changed to Top or Bottom in the Organizer Preferences.

There's a new option in the Organizer Preferences that enables keyboard controls in the Quicklook Player.
Press the spacebar in the Thumbnail to show/hide the Quicklook Player.
To close the Quicklook player with this option checked, press the Escape key.
